OFO manufacturing
facilities are located in Rusayl Industrial Estate, in Muscat the
Capitcal city fo the Sultante of Oman, State of the art machinery
from Nextrom of Finland (formerly Nokia-Maillefer) is used for fiber
draw and cabling operations.
The plant is situated in an area of 5,000 square meter, and the
plant is atmospherically controlled all year round. OFO also has
in place the complete range of Optical and Mechanical test equipment.
Designed by internationally accredited consultants from the United
Kingdom the plant is customized for drawing of Potical fiber and
manufacture of the a wide range of Optical fiber cables. The fiber
draw area is certified to international clean room standards.
OFO has an installed capacity to
draw 300,000 fiber km per annum. The cable production capacity is
15,000 km per annum, and a wide range of cables can be manufactured.
OFO manufactures cables suited for deployment in Ducts, Direct Burial
applications, Aerial stringing, deployment in plenums & risers,
and specialty cables for customized applications.

in OFO. We have pioneered G.652 D fiber manufacture in the region,
engineered long span Aerial cables for high voltage lines
& customized cables for the utllity segment in the
region.
